Welcome to Henry County 4-H

The Henry County 4-H program is designed to offer youth ages 9-18 years of age an opportunity to grow in leadership, citizenship, and communication by offering a variety of project areas and activities while interacting with peers their age in a club setting.

Henry County 4-H in conjunction with Henry County Conservation presented a Monarch Butterfly Program to the 5th graders at Eminence, New Castle and Campbellsburg elementary schools.

They learned about the anatomy of a butterfly, the metamorphosis, migration, population decline, and how to care for a monarch butterfly.

The video is a time lapse of a caterpillar eating a milkweed leaf.
